On top of a rock at 230m above sea level, Menerbes shows impressive views over the Luberon and is ranked as one of the "most beautiful villages in France" with its wonderfully authentic feel and historical charm.  

The " House of Wine & Truffles" is one of the most visited places in Luberon, it is located in the middle of the village in a beautifully restored Renaissance house and runs workshops on wine tasting and the discovery of black truffles. The restaurant should definitely be on your "must-do" list. 

Menerbes also houses a corkscrew museum (musée du tire-bouchon) as well as one of the only dolmens in the region: the Pichouno dolmen. 

Many popular restaurants, artist shops, and cafés are found in Ménerbes, which has been made famous by Picasso and writer Peter Mayle.

You are perfectly positioned for exploring Provence with the hilltop villages set amongst landscapes of vineyards and lavender fields. This is the paradise for walkers and cyclists across the Vaucluse plains and his new bike path, Luberon landscapes and famous Mont Ventoux.
